At the end of 4th session of COMEFA, three cooperation agreements between Algeria & France were signed.

After this ceremony, Jean-Yves Le Drian, Bruno Le Maire & Youssef Yousfi held a press conference.

The agreements were inked in presence of Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel, Minister of Industry and Mining Youcef Yousfi and Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fishing Abdelkader Bouazghi, from the Algerian side, and Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, and Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire, from the French side.

The first document, a shareholders’ agreement was signed between PMO Constantine Group, Condor Group, Palpa Pro Company and PSA Peugeot for car manufacturing in Algeria.

An agreement providing for the setting-up of a consortium for the export of Algeria’s fruits and vegetables and partnership in the field of organic agricultural products was signed between Agrolog and Agromed companies.

The two sides also signed shareholders’ agreement between the public group Elec El Djazair and Schneider Group for the production of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment.
