Minister of Mujahedeen and Rights Holders launched Sunday the digital platform “Glorious Algeria” as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the recovery of the national sovereignty, representing the showcase for this event par excellence.
During the official launch of “Glorious Algeria” at the headquarters of the Ministry of Mujahedeen and Rights Holders, Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane affirmed that this platform “relates the rich path of the glorious history of our Nation, as well as Algeria’s achievements during sixty years of independence,” pointing out that it represents “the historical and civilizational showcase of Algeria, through which the visitor, inside and outside the country, could know the reality, away from denigration campaign conducted by Algeria’s enemies.”
For his part, Minister of Mujahedeen and Rights Holders Laid Rebiga affirmed that this platform “will see, for a year, festivities and events celebrating Algeria’s glorious past and present,” adding that this digital space “reflects quite rightly the slogan of the 60th anniversary of independence, i.e. “ Glorious history, new era.”
“A space through which we will work to provide a historical content with symbolic connotations, reflecting the glorious history of Algeria and its civilization, from the pre-history, ancient history, the advent of Islam to the modern and contemporary history of our country,” he said
Developed under the supervision of teachers- researchers, “Glorious Algeria” comprises an important section devoted to the achievements of the independent Algeria and of the era of new Algeria, under the leadership of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the political, diplomatic, socio-economic and culture fields as well as in the preservation of the national memory to which he attaches a great importance,” said Rebiga.
The launch of this platform is part of the implementation of the commitment of President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the modernization of the public administration and the development of national digital contents.
