Foreign Minister Messahel attended the Ministerial on Trade, Security, and Governance in Africa held in US State Department on 17th November.
On this occasion, he held discussions, notably, with:
- Rex W. Tillerson, US Secretary of State ;
- Sam Kahamba Kutesa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uganda ;
- Alpha Barry, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso;
- Dr Workneh Gebeyehu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
This Ministerial was attended by Foreign Ministers and government guests from Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and the African Union Chairperson.
