Algeria awards 70 scholarships to Uganda at tertiary level & 30 undergraduate scholarships to Rwanda & 21 undergraduate scholarships to for the academic year 2017-2018.
Uganda
In keeping with the longstanding tradition of cooperation, friendship and solidarity between Algeria and Uganda, the Algerian Government has just awarded a quota of 70 undergraduate scholarships in various disciplines, particularly in the scientific and technical fields for Ugandans to go and study in different Algerian Universities.
This year’s quota comprises of 28 additional scholarships compared to last year’s offer.
In addition to hundreds of alumni of various Algerian Universities already back home in Uganda, engaged in building their country through various activities, 180 others are currently in Algeria pursuing their studies.

Rwanda
In keeping with the longstanding tradition of cooperation, friendship and solidarity between Algeria and Rwanda, the Algerian Government has just awarded a quota of 30 undergraduate scholarships in various disciplines, particularly in the scientific and technical fields for Rwandan to go and study in different Algerian Universities.
The quota includes training in medicine, pharmacy, dental surgery, math’s and computing, geology among other disciplines.
This year’s quota comprises of 03 additional scholarships compared to last year’s offer.
Burundi
In keeping with the longstanding tradition of cooperation, friendship and solidarity between Algeria and Burundi, the Algerian Government has just awarded a quota of 21 undergraduate scholarships in various disciplines, particularly in the scientific and technical fields for Ugandans to go and study in different Algerian Universities.
The quota includes training in medicine, pharmacy, dental surgery, maths and computing, geology among other disciplines.
This year’s quota comprises of 03 additional scholarships compared to last year’s offer.
