Algeria and the United Kingdom signed a cooperation agreement to improve the teaching of English in Algeria. 13/11/2017.

Algeria and the United Kingdom signed, on 13th November, in Algiers, a cooperation agreement to improve the teaching of English and the training of teachers in this field.

The agreement was signed by the Algerian Minister of National Education, Nouria Benghabrit, and the United Kingdom’s Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Algeria, Andrew Noble.

Mrs Benghebrit said in a press statement that the agreement “aims to improve didactics of English language education, training of trainers, governance, distance education and educational research”.

Ambassador Noble stressed, for his part, that he held several meetings with the Minister of National Education with the aim of improving the teaching of the English language in Algeria through the training of inspectors and teachers “, and he estimated that the agreement signed “will provide a new framework for cooperation in the field of education”.
